May 3 at the Auctions

On May 3, 2012, one auctioneer and three investors went ahead with the sales of three or four of our San Francisco neighbors’ homes.

That day we didn’t have enough auction protestors to stop the gang, at least one of whom is an admitted felon auction bid rigger. The auctioneer Terry Redmon and three investors (Joseph Giraudo, Craig Lipton, and one other) colluded to develop a system of hand signals (see photos below) that permitted only those who they wanted to bid on the auctions to do so. I wonder if that makes those foreclosure auctions illegal? No other auctioneers were able to proceed with auctions that day. Thanks to everyone who helped out!
