May 4 at the Auctions

On May 4, 2012, the auction protestors apparently succeeded in stopping all the sales of homes the banks had scheduled for auctions. We had more turnout because Wells Fargo had intended to sell off Bernal neighbors Maria and Washington Davila’s home that day. The auctioneers stuck to only postponements and cancellations on the sidewalk in front of City Hall steps. We for sure saved at least a couple of family’s home that day. Thanks to everyone who helped out!
