On May 23, 2012, two auctioneers went ahead with the sale of three family’s homes in San Francisco (671 Peralta Ave., 2724 21st St., and 501 Beale St. #PH2A, went to investors and none went to the bank) despite blowing whistles, playing loud music, and yelling in protest.

Despite presentation of legal documents proving that 671 Peralta Ave. was in bankruptcy protection, auction crier Alejandro of Cal Western Reconveyance went ahead with the sale of Bernal neighbor Allen Stowers’ home. We plan to followup to see if any legal action can be taken.
